Once the attending physician or midwife has completed your baby’s cord blood collection, simply call Securacell. Our clinicians will review packaging with you and as a service to Securacell clients, shipping is coordinated and monitored by us. Let us worry about your cord blood so you can be with your new family. Your sample will be picked up directly from your patient room, hospital guidelines permitting.

Shipping of your baby's precious cord blood is included in our fees and is entrusted to a our Medical Courier.

Will Securacell Let Me Know When My Baby's Cord Blood Arrives?

Securacell will keep in contact with you to let you know when your sample arrives at our laboratory and has been processed. Next, you will receive a lab summary from Securacell which details the number of vials in which your cord blood's stem cells have been stored, as well as the total number of cells you now have cryogenically stored for future use.
